Vincent (The Sun King)

Get busy, Van Gogh,
create swirling tawny fields;
heed not broken hearts.

To the brush,Van Gogh.
Paint yourself a sunflower.
Occupy your eyes.

Release your wild sky
and cathartic dazzling sun
(better out than in).

Dive into gold paint.
At loose ends, your ear’s at risk...
idle hands crave knives.

Love the way the swooping imagery captures the feel of Van Gogh's swirling brushwork, Beth! Gorgeous stuff.
